I'm JaJuan Marquis — a Nashville-based filmmaker, photographer, and creative director with a bachelor's degree in Video & Film Production and years of experience turning ideas into cinematic reality.
I started JaJuan Marquis Films because I believe independent artists and small businesses deserve high-quality visuals that actually move people — not cookie-cutter content shot on a phone. Every project I take on gets treated like it matters, because to my clients, it does.
My work spans music videos, short-form social content, real estate media, commercial advertisements, and event coverage. I've had the privilege of working with artists like DOVa, Khai Zhen, Lil Boosie, Big BooGie, Icewear Vezzo, and Found Honey — and every project has pushed me to tell stories more honestly and more beautifully than the last.
I shoot on a Fujifilm XT4, fly a DJI Air 2S drone for aerials, and bring a Canon A1 film camera when a project calls for that raw, analog texture that's become a signature look for artists right now. From concept to color grade, I handle it all in-house.
